The Goals of the Continental Bulldog Club

The Continental Bulldog Club was founded on December 4, 2004 with the goal to further the new breed and to support its breeders in their endeavours to raise healthy, sportive dogs of excellent temperament and character. The Club should also provide a forum for a lively exchange of thoughts and experiences with regards to all matters relating to man's best friend and his well being.

The Club is a member in good standing of the Swiss Kennel Club (SKG) and is thus governed by their rules and regulations. The by-laws of our Club have been established in accordance with these rules and have been accepted by the Swiss Kennel Club.

It is the aim to publish periodically the "CB-News" and apart from the annual general assembly a leisurely "CB-Meeting" will be held once a year which should offer an opportunity to get together with people who share the enthusiasm and interest in this new breed.

In case you are interested in a membership please click here in order to fill in and send off the application form. Annual membership fee incl. contribution to the newly-founded health fund amounts to:

Furthermore, the founding assembly has voted for the adoption of the compulsory subscription for each main member of the official magazine "HUNDE" of the Swiss Kennel Club which besides many dog relevant articles of general interest contains official announcements by the Kennel Club and news from its various sections. The annual subscription fee for club members is CHF 35,- compared to CHF 71,- for individual subscribers. These fees for delivery to Germany and Austria amount to CHF 49,- vs. CHF 100,-.

All members and especially the breeders are committed to support every and all measures aimed at the development and pure breeding of the Continental Bulldog.
